The real estate of the “Villa di Farneto”

The Villa di Farneto, an authentic jewel of Tuscan historical heritage, has origins that presumably date back to the late 16th century. This historic mansion represents an important real estate heritage, linked to the rich rural history of Mugello.

The complex comprises several elements:

  • Villa
  • Farmhouse
  • Land

The original villa, an expression of refinement and nobility, was intended for residential use, serving as a home for those who influenced the history and culture of the surrounding area.

The entrance adjacent to the villa emphasizes the importance of this unit in the context of the life of the mansion.

Next to it, we find the farmhouse, an authentic testimony to the agricultural activities that once animated the property.

The “Villa”

The villa is spread over three floors, with the main access via a staircase leading to the mezzanine floor. This houses a number of rooms, most notably the halls embellished with fireplaces and the chapel.

The Rural past

The farmhouse adjacent to the villa, represents an important link to the agricultural history of the estate.

In the past, in fact, the Villa di Farneto was the logistic center of an important farm extending over more than 150 hectares, endowed with 15 farms characterized by the production of cereals, oil, wine as well as cattle and pig breeding. This productive reality was confronted by the large spaces that today constitute the rooms of the property compendium.

Every corner of this property tells a story of elegance, tradition and commitment to rural life in Tuscany.
